Wow!! I`m surprised at the amount of Apple kool-aid you drank D.Lee.I don`t think this device has any practical purpose right now but could after a few generations.Your over enthusiastic video can be blamed on the so called Jobs effect. It`s time to calm down and seriously reconsider your statements.
Techboi53, when I first heard about the iPad, officially. I was like, "wow". Then, I stopped to think about it and began to see all the things it could not do and I felt, "eh?" No camera ...yet, anyway. No multitasking ...yet, anyway. 3G? most people already pay for a plan on their smartphone.
Then when I thought about it more, I began to see how revolutionary this device is. It is not supposed to be all things to all people, but it can do a great many things for a great number of people.
It has potential and I see the future of computing imprinted on the iPad. Granted, I have not had a chance to run it through the ropes course, but then again, I never recommend anyone buy this device. The devil is in the details, but I firmly believe that those details will be ironed out ...if not by Apple, then by a competitor.
